We are seeking a skilled and experienced Builder to join our team. As a Builder at Bonsai Fine Arts, your focus will be on fabricating and assembling custom crates for delicate objects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and possess a range of skills to contribute to our projects.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Carry out carpentry work for various crates and structures
Read a tape measure, good at dividing fractions
Follow cut sheets according to specifications
Able to work with a team
Keep up with general maintenance of tools
Physically able to lift full sheets of 4'x 8’ ½" plywood
Attention to fine details
Painting crates
Cutting various foams and materials
Keeping up with dust collection maintenance
Stenciling crates neatly
Requirements
Experience:
Extensive experience with tablesaw, chopsaw, and bandsaw
Experience using and changing out various router bits
Proficient with nail guns and staple guns
Working efficiently in a fabrication shop
Skilled in carpentry
Previous involvement in packing delicate objects
